Monday morning in Singapore. Prereleases wrapped yesterday. Four days to street date.
Quiet on the official side again. pokemon.cn's newest TCG post is still October 30, and so is PokeBeach's top story, the Aura Seeker Blastoise reveal. The only dated item this week comes from the official Pokémon community letter of October 30: Delta Reign lands in Pokémon TCG Live on November 5, a day before cardboard.
Sealed finally has sales
Yesterday every Delta Reign sealed number on PriceCharting was a print with no sales behind it. That's changed.
English booster box:
- Oct 31: $230.00, TCGplayer - Nov 1: $229.19, TCGplayer - Nov 1: $243.74, eBay - Nov 1: $175.00, eBay, titled PRESALE 11/6
Strip out the presale and in-hand boxes are trading $229 to $244. The $175 listing ships after release if it ships at all. That's a promise, not a box, so it stays out of the range. PriceCharting print is $229.19.
ETB: $105.79 on TCGplayer October 31, then a $120.50 eBay presale on November 1. Print $113.15, up $7.15.
Pokemon Center ETB: $295.00 on TCGplayer November 1. Same seller pattern as last week, $294.94 to $294.95.
All of that is secondary market. We don't have a reliable MSRP source in hand, so we're not quoting one.
Read: sealed is sitting right on its print with almost no spread. Nobody is paying up before street date, and nobody is dumping either. Next week tells you more than this week.
Correction on the 138 SIR
Yesterday we called the $495.00 sale on English Mega Rayquaza ex 138/103 the first one. It wasn't. PriceCharting has since filled in nine raw sales going back to October 26. When we read the page, only one row showed.
The nine split cleanly:
- Oct 26 to 27: $381.64, $700.00, $715.61. Early chaos. - Oct 31 to Nov 1: $401.73, $479.00, $479.99, $483.04, $495.00, $500.00. Five of six inside $479 to $500. Median $481.52.
Print is $483.04, down $11.96.
So there's a band now. It's a prerelease band, and it gets tested on November 6.
Gold is sliding faster
English 141/103 Mega Hyper Rare: $533.69 on October 31. November 1 shows $540.00, $420.00, and two rows at $382.30 with identical titles. Could be one seller with two copies, could be a duplicate record, so we list them and leave them out of any midpoint.
Print $532.75, down $38.13, and still above most of yesterday's sales.
Japanese MUR 113/076 had two raw sales November 1: $330.00 and $291.26. The English premium over Japanese gold is shrinking.
Japanese 110 PSA 10 keeps easing
The Japanese Storm Emeralda SAR 110/076 PSA 10 sold at $455.00 and $470.00 on November 1. The four October 31 sales had a $490.00 median.
That leaves raw English 138 around $480 and graded Japanese 110 around $460. Ungraded English is now priced over a Japanese PSA 10. That gap has to close somewhere, and the side about to get flooded with supply is English.
Lower slots
- Eevee 114/103 IR: nine eBay sales November 1, $25.00 to $45.52, median $31.28. It was $48.00 on TCGplayer October 30. - Zinnia's Trust 140/103 SIR: one sale November 1, $39.99. - Mega Rayquaza ex 84/103: six sales November 1, $10.73 to $20.99.
Eevee has the deepest tape of the set and it's already walking down. Expect the IR tier to soften first after release.
PSA note
Still no case for sending a prerelease 138. By the time an English PSA 10 exists, its comp will be post-release raw, not today's $480. Check centering, sleeve it, wait.
