RGB Mew Slabs Cool Off: Market Signals 2026-10-29

Thursday morning in Singapore. We're leaving the five boxes in the back today and looking at three cards: the red, green and blue RGB Mew secret rares from the English 30th Celebration set.

PokeBeach reported yesterday that all three are coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket on October 31. That's the kind of headline that gets people asking whether to sell a PSA 10 into the noise. We went through all three PriceCharting pages. The noise already left. The slab prices were falling well before the news.

The desk read

Pocket cards live on a phone. Not one extra paper copy of these Mews gets printed because of it. The best case is that more people learn the cards exist.

The PSA 10 tape has been sliding all month. Red sold for $13,850.69 on October 11. Its two most recent sales, on October 26, were $8,300 and $9,200. Blue went from $14,800 on October 7 to $7,850 on October 25. Green always traded a step lower: $10,000 on October 17, $7,300 on October 26. The latest sale on each of the three now sits between $7,300 and $9,200.

The PSA 10 prints haven't fully caught up. Red shows $10,056.47 and Blue $10,523.54, both more than $1,000 above their recent sales. Green shows $8,267.00.

If you're buying a 10, the print is not your cost basis. The last week of sales is. If you're selling one, $8,000 to $9,000 is the honest range right now. None of the three pages has a PSA 10 sale dated October 27 or 28 yet, so we have no post-headline slab sale to judge. We'll log the first one once Pocket goes live.

Three prints

PriceCharting, read around 09:00 Singapore time on October 29. Change shown on page in parentheses.

- Mew R/RGB: ungraded $4,517.15 (+$138.36), PSA 9 $4,675.00, PSA 10 $10,056.47 (−$3,643.53) - Mew G/RGB: ungraded $3,308.57 (−$8.57), PSA 9 $5,500.00, PSA 10 $8,267.00 (+$122.52) - Mew B/RGB: ungraded $4,103.88 (+$103.88), PSA 9 $3,750.00, PSA 10 $10,523.54 (−$3,476.46)

Red and Blue each lost about $3,500 of PSA 10 print overnight. That's the page catching up to two weeks of lower sales, not a crash last night.

TCGPlayer asks: Red $4,732.75 (checked October 29). Green $3,738.75 and Blue $3,976.43, both last checked October 22, so treat them as stale.

PSA file

Every PSA 10 sale on the three pages, all eBay:

- Red: Oct 11 $13,850.69. Oct 15 $13,700. Oct 17 $13,500, $12,600. Oct 20 $9,000. Oct 21 $11,587.31, $11,100, $10,000. Oct 22 $11,100, $9,100. Oct 23 $11,100. Oct 25 $9,000. Oct 26 $8,300, $9,200 - Green: Oct 10 $9,300. Oct 15 $7,993.15. Oct 17 $10,000. Oct 18 $9,300. Oct 23 $9,700. Oct 25 $8,267, $7,700. Oct 26 $7,300 - Blue: Oct 7 $14,800. Oct 11 $14,000, $13,850.69. Oct 15 $12,500. Oct 21 $11,750. Oct 23 $11,200, $9,351. Oct 24 $8,750. Oct 25 $7,850

We cut a $6,100 PSA 10 on the Green page from October 15. The title says Japanese M6a, which is a different card and a different market. Two listings put a pop count in the title. Sellers wrote those numbers and we didn't check them against PSA, so we're not quoting them.

The number that matters for submissions is PSA 9. A Red PSA 9 sold for $3,950 on October 25, under the $4,517.15 raw print. Blue PSA 9s went for $4,000 on October 16 and $3,500 on October 18, also under raw. On these three cards, grading pays only if it comes back a 10. Right now a 10 is roughly double the raw print: 2.0x on Red, 1.9x on Blue, 2.2x on Green.

Raw sales

- Red: Oct 25 $5,600 and $5,070.34. Oct 21 $3,650 - Green: Oct 28 $3,250, plus a $2,797.25 sale whose title opens with "AUTHENTICATED." We can't tell the condition from that, so it's noted separately. Oct 26 $3,200. Oct 24 $3,400, $3,100 - Blue: last eBay sale Oct 20 at $3,500. TCGPlayer sold one Oct 23 at $4,499

The Red page also carries a $2,106 sale from October 18 titled as the 2021 Celebrations Mew 025/025. Wrong set. Cut.

Raw copies haven't followed the slabs down. Red and Blue raw prints both went up overnight.

The five boxes

- Elite Trainer Box: print down from $122.89 to $118.44 (−$4.45). October 28 had 13 sales at a $115.00 median, 8 of them under the new print. Someone is asking $111.00 on PriceCharting's own marketplace - Booster Bundle: print $77.22 (flat). Two singles on October 28, $56.00 and $65.00, plus a "Set of 2" we cut. Three late fills landed for October 27, which now shows five singles at a $67.00 median - Poster Collection: print $38.64 (flat). Four sales on October 28 from $24.00 to $40.74, median $32.63 - Knock Out Collection: print $25.00 (flat). No new sales. Marketplace ask $30.00 - Sylveon ex Box: print $49.55 (flat). Four sales on October 28: $42.75, $45.00, $45.00, $46.00. All under print

The ETB print finally moved. Down a bit over $4, still about $3 above where it's actually trading. TCGPlayer asks on all five are still dated October 22 or 24. Background only.
