Quiet Sunday on the official side. Nothing new on pokemon.com, the Japanese card site or PokeBeach since October 23. Nothing on pokemon.cn since October 21. Delta Reign prereleases are on day two. The story is on the sale rows.
The 30th Celebration Booster Bundle print sits at $81.14 for a second day. The tape kept walking away from it. Twenty-two clean eBay singles page-dated October 24 put the median at $65.00. Not one of them reached the print. The median was $71 a day earlier. The gap between print and tape went from $10 to $16 overnight.
The desk read
Yesterday we called the $81 Bundle print an overshoot and expected it to come back down to the tape. It didn't move. The tape moved down instead. That's worse than yesterday's read, not a vindication of it.
Half of the 22 sales cleared under $65. Low $56.17, high $80.24. The TCGPlayer ask is still $73.84, higher than 19 of the 22 eBay sales.
If you're selling a Bundle off the $81 print, you won't sell it. The October 24 tape says $64 to $69. If you're buying, don't read $73.84 as a discount against $81. eBay has been filling around $65.
The ETB went the other way. Its print rose $5.71 to $122.97 while the clean October 24 median was $115.50. Two prints, both drifting away from their own tape.
Prints and asks
- Elite Trainer Box: print $122.97 (was $117.26, +$5.71). TCGPlayer ask $124.26 (flat); PriceCharting ask $130.00 shipped (flat) - Booster Bundle: print $81.14 (flat). TCGPlayer ask $73.84 (flat) - Poster Collection: print $37.00 (flat). TCGPlayer ask $34.64 (was $35.75, -$1.11) - Knock Out Collection: print $22.15 (flat). TCGPlayer ask $24.35 (flat); PriceCharting ask $30.00 shipped (flat) - Sylveon ex Box: print $52.67 (flat). TCGPlayer ask $57.65 (flat)
One print moved. One ask moved. Everything else held.
Booster Bundle: the 22
October 24 rows on the page: 31, one of them a TCGPlayer sale at $73.99. What we cut from the eBay side:
- Two 2-box lots at $136.05 and $136.80 - Five ETB plus Bundle 2-packs titled as Costco exclusives: $159.99, $164.99, $169.99, $170.00, $174.99 - One Bundle with a sticker add-on at $91.00
That leaves 22 singles. Range $56.17 to $80.24. Median $65.00. Mean about $66.23. Eleven under $65. Only one above $74.99.
The lone TCGPlayer sale at $73.99 tracks its own ask. eBay is clearing almost $9 cheaper.
The Costco-titled 2-packs are new on this page in this volume. We haven't checked Costco's shelf price, so we log only what eBay shows. The middle one, $169.99, is about $10 under the sum of the two October 24 single medians ($115.50 + $65.00 = $180.50). Splitting a 2-pack doesn't obviously pay.
ETB: print up, tape not
October 24 rows: 17. Out: a TCGPlayer sale at $120.95, a $130.00 row titled as an ETB plus Bundle 2-pack, and a $145.80 row titled only "see description." Fourteen left. Range $104.51 to $140.43. Median $115.50. Mean about $118.32. Eight of the 14 didn't reach even the old $117.26 print.
The page also shows 14 rows dated October 25. Drop one titled DENTED at $120.00 and 13 remain: $109.95 to $139.99, median $125.00. Read at 9am Singapore time, these are likely Saturday evening US sales. We log them by page date.
This week's eBay medians: Tuesday $120.00, Wednesday $123.75, Thursday $115.50, Friday $120.00, October 24 $115.50. Both days together: 27 sales, median $119.99. The new $122.97 print isn't wrong, but October 24 doesn't support the bump.
Poster, Knock Out, Sylveon
- Poster Collection: 31 rows on October 24. We dropped a TCGPlayer sale at $25.99, one title saying 2021 and one saying English 2025. Wrong-year risk. Twenty-eight left, $24.50 to $60.17, median $35.00, $2 under the $37 print. Seventeen of 28 under print. The TCGPlayer ask dropped to $34.64 with it. The $37 day was one day. Poster lives at $34 to $37 - Knock Out Collection: 26 eBay singles on October 24 after cutting a 2-box lot at $35.47 (one TCGPlayer sale at $24.25 counted separately). Range $11.50 to $42.18, median about $25.90. Twenty-one of 26 cleared above the $22.15 print. The print was cut a day ago and the tape bounced right back over it. Low end: $11.50 and two at $15.50. Sixteen of the 26 sat between $23 and $30 - Sylveon ex Box: nine eBay sales on October 24, $40.00 to $49.99, median $45.47, all under print. Then 17 rows dated October 25, $45.00 to $78.55, median $53.50, back near the $52.67 print. The $78.55 row is an outlier. Thin one day, thick the next. We're not calling it
Prerelease weekend
Day two of Delta Reign prereleases. They run through November 1. Street date is November 6.
Same note as yesterday for collectors. The Delta Reign singles showing up on eBay this week are mostly prerelease pulls listed as asks, not sales. PSA is too early. The set isn't out, so there's no pop.
PSA file
The PSA columns on the five 30th Celebration English sealed pages are still empty. No new graded rows. No new numbers.
