Prints Held, Asks Moved Instead: Market Signals 2026-10-13

Tuesday morning, Singapore. Nothing new from the TCG side. PokeBeach's only October 12 post is Grant Manley's Baltimore deck write-up; its newest product news is still the October 6 space cards and Santa Cruz boards. pokemon.com's October 12 items are Pokémon Night Out merch and a 2.0.0 game patch, not cards. pokemon-card.com still tops out at October 9. No new SKU today. Quiet day, and the log says so.

On PriceCharting, none of the five 30th Celebration sealed prints moved from Monday. The change labels are the same ones Monday's move left behind. The sales lists still stop at October 9. What moved were the asks, and they didn't all move the same way.

Desk call

Monday was the algorithm moving while sellers sat still. Tuesday flipped it. Prints froze, and the Loose Price asks repriced on their own. Three dated days (October 10, 11, 12) now have zero rows on all five pages. So treat today's ask moves as sellers re-quoting. They aren't evidence anyone paid those numbers.

Two pages tell the story. Sylveon's ask climbed back over its print and now sits right on its last two real sales. ETB lost its outlier row, and its print now sits above every October sale left on the page.

Five pages, print vs. ask

- Booster Bundle: print $81.70, unchanged. TCGPlayer ask **$73.03** (was $71.02, +$2.01) - Sylveon ex Box: print $59.99, unchanged. TCGPlayer ask **$62.89** (was $59.14, +$3.75) - Elite Trainer Box: print $165.52, unchanged. TCGPlayer ask **$138.30** (was $142.85, -$4.55). PriceCharting ask $140.00 with free shipping, unchanged - Poster Collection: print $40.13, unchanged. TCGPlayer ask $37.35, unchanged. Monday's $45.00 PriceCharting ask is no longer in the box - Knock Out Collection: print $29.50, unchanged. PriceCharting ask $25.67 with free shipping, unchanged. TCGPlayer ask **$27.79** (was $26.92, +$0.87)

Print = PriceCharting's algorithm number at the top of the page. Asks = what the "Loose Price" box showed when we read it. **Asks, not sales, not MSRP.**

Signal 1: Sylveon's ask is back on top, parked on the last two sales

The [Sylveon ex Box](https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pokemon-30th-celebration/sylveon-ex-box) page has now flipped twice in three mornings. Ask above print on October 11. Print above ask on October 12. Today the ask jumped to $62.89, $2.90 over the $59.99 print.

That $62.89 isn't random. The two newest rows are TCGPlayer at $62.99 (October 8) and $62.50 (October 9). The seller is pricing off those sales, not off the algorithm. eBay still shows $44.50 and $52.00 on October 6, so the venue gap is intact. Selling on TCGPlayer, low $60s has real sales behind it. Buying, check eBay first.

Signal 2: ETB's $257.88 row is gone, and the print is now the outlier

On Monday the [ETB](https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pokemon-30th-celebration/elite-trainer-box) page showed an October 9 eBay sale at $257.88. This morning it doesn't. The October rows left on the page:

- October 9, TCGPlayer: $144.96 - October 4, TCGPlayer: $159.00 - October 1, eBay presale: $159.00 - October 1, eBay, listed with a small shrink rip: $150.00

The $165.52 print now sits above all four. The asks, $138.30 on TCGPlayer and $140.00 on PriceCharting, sit below all four. Neither end is a clean reference. If you're pricing an ETB, the page's own October tape says $145 to $159. The TCGPlayer ask also fell $4.55 overnight, so the sell side is still leaning lower.

Signal 3: Bundle ask creeps up toward the print

The [Booster Bundle](https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pokemon-30th-celebration/booster-bundle) TCGPlayer ask rose to $73.03. That cuts the print-to-ask gap from $10.68 to $8.67. Newest sale is still October 9 at $66.38. October single-box sales on the page run roughly $66 to $88. A rising ask on an empty tape is not a reason to chase. Bids in the mid $60s to mid $70s have cleared more than once this month.

Smaller notes. Poster's newest sale is still October 9 TCGPlayer at $34.00, ask unchanged at $37.35. [Knock Out Collection](https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pokemon-30th-celebration/knock-out-collection) TCGPlayer ask ticked up to $27.79, still under the $29.50 print, with the newest sale October 9 at $22.00.

PSA file

No 30th Celebration submissions are back, so there's no pop to read. If you're thinking about grading the Sylveon ex promo out of this box, there are no graded sales to anchor on yet. A sealed ask bouncing $3 doesn't change what the card inside is worth.
