Santa Cruz Blind-Bag Boards, a Stalled Tape: Market Signals 2026-10-07

The boards come with a cap on the chase but no total run and no odds. Three chase designs at 500 each is 1,500 boards out of an unknown number. Until that number shows up, a price on a chase board is a guess. Retail is not announced either; PokeBeach's figure of about $110 is an estimate from the last collab, not an MSRP. For the 30th sealed shelf, keep quoting off last weekend's sales. A day with no new rows is not a day the price held.

From [PokeBeach's post](https://www.pokebeach.com/2026/10/santa-cruz-x-pokemon-tcg-skateboards-revealed-featuring-30-pokemon-cards-3-secret-rare-boards-and-apparel), October 6 Pacific:

- 30 designs, one Pokémon card per deck. The promo art shows Base Set style Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise boards, plus Mew ex and Eevee. - Sold in an opaque blind bag. You find out which board you got when you open it. - Decks are 8" × 31.6" with a sheen finish, rideable once wheels go on. - Three chase boards: collages of all 30 cards across different languages, gold foil, **500 of each worldwide**. - Hats, tees, and sweaters in the same drop. - No MSRP yet. PokeBeach expects around $110.

The 2023 run is the only comparison on file: 20 designs, about $110 a bag, and five gold boards reportedly limited to 50 each. This drop has more designs and a chase cap ten times larger per board, so the 2023 scarcity does not carry over.

The desk did not open any sold tape for the 2023 boards or presales of this run. No prices here.

Per [PokeBeach](https://www.pokebeach.com/2026/10/pokemon-cards-sent-to-space-for-the-first-time), October 6 Pacific: as part of the European Space Agency tie-in for World Space Week, TPCi showed photos of astronaut Sophie Adenot with a Pikachu ex and a Minior floating in zero gravity aboard the ISS. She launched on SpaceX Crew-12 on February 13 and docked February 14. An Astronaut Pikachu plush went up too; the plush and the ESA accessory line are on sale at Pokémon Center.

Market weight: small. The two flown cards are not product and nobody has said they will be sold. The buyable part is the ESA playmat, sleeves, binder, and deck box line, which went live October 1. If "flown in space" listings start showing up, treat them as stories unless they come with official paper.

PriceCharting prints this morning, identical to October 6:

From the pages alone the desk cannot tell whether nothing sold on October 6 or PriceCharting has not ingested it yet. So the note for today is that the tape did not update, not that prices held. Wave 2 is on street day six.

- China: RED LAND2026 specials ([pokemon.cn 23879](https://www.pokemon.cn/tcg/event/23879.html)) ended October 5 and the page still has no champions or deck lists. Advanced Tournament Autumn ([24035](https://www.pokemon.cn/tcg/event/24035.html)) online registration closes **October 11, 23:59:59** China time, with lottery results by October 12, 23:59:59. City League Season 4 batch five ([24020](https://www.pokemon.cn/tcg/event/24020.html)) is on day five of October 3 to 15. - Japan: the [info rail](https://www.pokemon-card.com/info/) still tops out at October 4. - Pokemon.com news served a bot check again. - Delta Reign: no new card images overnight. Prereleases October 24 to November 1, release November 6.

Skateboards are not cards, so none of this reaches a PSA queue. The one grading thought from today: a grade tells you about the card, not where it has been. Nothing from the 30th Celebration has come back from grading yet, so pop counts stay off the desk.
