Two PokeBeach stamps this morning. 9:18, four 30th cards in Traditional Chinese and Japanese. 9:28, Diancie gets an immediate errata with Worlds 11 days out. pokemon.cn posted two play calendars the same day.
What matters today
Play the errata tonight if Diancie is in the bag. File the four 30th arts as TC / JP first looks. Do not mash both into a 30th headline. Darkrai printed a lot of raw rows today. Still a band.
Signal 1: count Special Energy cards, not energy units
Card: Diancie, Scarlet & Violet Stellar Crown 086/142. Immediate errata on Diffuse Reflection. The attack now does 40 damage for each Special Energy card attached to all of your opponent's Pokémon.
The word is card. Multi-Energy specials such as Neo Upper Energy and Rocket's Energy used to get over-counted if you tallied Energy units. Official intent: count Special Energy cards, not the Energy those cards provide. Effective immediately. Goes into the official TCG Errata document. Not a collectible headline. Anyone on Diancie for San Francisco (August 28) has to change the count today. Same card number, corrected text. Not a new print run.
Signal 2: Unown spells ANNIVERSARY
Reshiram, Zekrom, Unown, Drifloon. TC and JP first. PokeBeach's printed stats: Zekrom Lightning HP130, Unown Psychic HP80, Drifloon Psychic HP70. Unown's art spells ANNIVERSARY.
Reveal, not a new SKU date. Street date remains September 16. English did not get a matching four-card post today. Same art, different language. File them apart.
Signal 3: CN posted a Friday league and a Shanghai faction event
Victory Friday Season 3: Fridays only, August 21 to November 20. General group signup from August 20. Newcomer group from August 21. 宝可梦卡牌会员 mini-program. Champion prize is one Gengar ex Special Illustration Rare. Participation task drops Season 3 avatar and frame shards.
Faction event: Mewtwo vs Mew, at 宝可梦官方卡牌道馆-上海 中山公园（古月鸟）. Battles August 21 to September 6. Faction pick August 19 to September 6. Battle signup August 19 18:00 to September 5 23:59. Darkrai: more rows, same width
Pitch Black Mega Darkrai ex SIR #116/084. PriceCharting ungraded print $249.22. Today's ungraded rows that say 116/084 / SIR / RAW: $250.00, $260.00, $247.45, $232.50, $225.00, $270.00, $199.99, $289.00, $260.00, $210.00. A $362.44 ACE Gem Mint 10 is graded, not raw.
Recent raw eBay is still mostly $200–$280. Volume is not a tighter print.
PSA notes
The errata does not change the card number or the grade case. Do not resubmit 086/142 for a text change. The four 30th cards are still renders. Gengar ex SIR as a store prize will have pop later, by shop, not this week. Traditional Chinese and Japanese moved first today. CN shop play is a separate calendar.
